Campus
From our modest beginning with a single 6,000-square-foot office building in 1989, Chesapeake Energy Corporation has built one of the premier corporate working environments in the U.S.
Our well-designed, beautifully landscaped 111-acre campus has been developed using a modern interpretation of Georgian-style architecture reminiscent of the 1700s and 1800s in the Chesapeake Bay region. Located at 6100 North Western Avenue in north Oklahoma City, our buildings contain almost one million square feet of office space with three on-campus restaurants and an award-winning fitness center.
Dining
Located conveniently across our campus, these restaurants serve as hubs for Chesapeake employees to dine, relax and meet with colleagues.
The Wildcat, our first on-site restaurant, offers a variety of cuisine for even the most selective palate. Gourmet food, fresh soups and sandwiches are available daily for breakfast or lunch in a glass-covered atrium overlooking the western grounds of the campus.
Fuel, our second onsite restaurant, offers dine-in or take-out cuisine easily ordered from a variety of high-tech touch-screen interactive menus. Employees can easily place their order from any of these kiosks and then pay with just a swipe of their employee identification card.
Elements, our newest restaurant, combines dine-in and take-out dishes featured at both the Wildcat and Fuel to offer more variety to our employees. Designed with a theme of elements such as fire, water and earth, this visually stunning restaurant showcases natural textures and elements of the environment.
Each week, Chesapeake’s chefs create menus that rival any local restaurant and raise the bar in selection. With unique settings, food and staff, The Restaurants at Chesapeake prove that they are anything but a “company cafeteria.”

Landscape
The lush grounds of our campus are seasonally landscaped for an image that resembles a park more than a corporation. Flowering plants and green grasses complement our beautiful two tree-lined creeks that wind through the center of our campus.
The Blue Room Theater
An innovative approach to corporate presentations, daily seminars and town hall meetings for our employees is utilized with The Blue Room, a spacious 220-seat theater. Modeled and backlit in cool blue colors to mirror the blue flame of natural gas, this area also frequently serves our employees as an entertainment venue for weekend movies or significant sporting events. An even larger second auditorium, The Green Room, will be ready for use in 2011.
Fitness Center
Chesapeake’s commitment to encouraging employees to live a healthy lifestyle is reflected in nearly every aspect of our campus. Our fitness center, a 72,000-square-foot facility, embodies this by offering employees the ease of keeping fit without having to leave campus. Aerobics, cardio training, swimming, fencing, weightlifting, basketball and cycling are just a few of the programs offered under the guidance of an experienced fitness staff.
Continued Growth
Future building projects are under way and will add additional office space upon completion in 2012 and beyond, to house our Oklahoma City staff of more than 4,600 employees. In 2007, we opened a state-of-the-art Reservoir Technological Center to help the company better understand and solve the challenges of unconventional reservoirs that we believe hold vast new reserves of natural gas.
These amenities help us in our daily activities by providing employees with the best tools and facilities, so that they may continue to effectively and efficiently deliver a valued, industry-leading product.
