Kent Wilkinson leads the Chesapeake NG Ventures investment team, providing a disciplined investment approach focused on enabling technology and infrastructure that increase demand for U.S. natural gas.

Wilkinson is responsible for finding, championing, funding and implementing strategies and infrastructure that increase demand for natural gas in the United States. He is also accountable for Peake Fuel Solutions, L.L.C., and manages the company’s investments in Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NASDAQ: CLNE) and Sundrop Fuels, Inc. He joined Chesapeake Energy Corporation in 2006, serving as Manager, Midstream System Development, and Director, Business Strategy and Development. Prior to joining Chesapeake, Wilkinson worked in a variety of roles in the midstream segment of the natural gas industry and as an engineering consultant. He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma, where he went on to receive an MBA. He currently serves on the board of Wireless Seismic as well as several nonprofit boards.
