Peake, GE Collaborate on CNG Stations
On March 7, 2012, Peake and GE announced a collaboration to develop infrastructure solutions that will help accelerate the adoption of natural gas as a transportation fuel. Beginning in the fall of 2012, GE will manufacture and Peake will market “CNG In A Box™,” a modular and standardized CNG compression station. It can be used at industrial locations or traditional automotive refilling stations.
The companies plan to deploy more than 250 ecomagination-qualified “CNG In A Box” stations across the U.S. through 2015.
