Want to find out if the natural gas industry and Chesapeake are for you? Apply for the Chesapeake Summer Intern Program and get the chance to learn firsthand from successful professionals in your field while working in a challenging day-to-day environment. You will gain invaluable professional experience working on real projects with some of the industry’s most talented experts, and through the Chesapeake information sessions and a guided rig tour you will learn about each aspect of our business.
Throughout the summer, you will get a chance to hear how Chesapeake has grown from 12 employees to America’s most active driller and one of the nation's largest producers of natural gas in just over 20 years from our co-founder and CEO Aubrey McClendon. You will also get to spend time with members of our senior management team and other interns at a number of fun, intern-specific events such as the Summer Kick-off Party, Go-Kart Racing and a Redhawks baseball game. Finally, you can join your fellow Chesapeake employees for a game of dodgeball at a Yoga class or lifting weights with your free membership to our amazing on-site Fitness Center.
