This year Oklahoma City has been recognized as one of the “100 Best Communities for Young People” by America’s Promise. It also continues to be very attractive as one of the most affordable metropolitan cities to live in and maintains its status as the second-largest city in the continental U.S. based on geographical size.

Recently, Oklahoma City has also been recognized as:

  • “Top 40 Real Estate Markets” by Expansion Management Magazine
  • “Best Places for Business and Career” by Forbes Magazine
  • “Hot Cities for Entrepreneurs” by Entrepreneur Magazine

Thanks to a citywide revitalization effort, downtown Oklahoma City now boasts the nation's premier minor league ballpark and a canal that flows beside choice restaurants, shops, a movie theater and quaint cafes in the historic Bricktown entertainment district. A fleet of water taxis also provide tours along the mile-long waterway. In the Downtown area, you'll also find the Myriad Botanical Gardens, the Oklahoma City National Memorial and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Catch a ride on the Oklahoma Spirit Trolley which runs through all of the popular downtown attractions in Bricktown and the surrounding area, such as the Cox Convention Center or The Ford Center, home to our new NBA franchise, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
