In order for November and December event sponsorships and/or holiday contributions to be reviewed, please make submissions by October 3, 2011 and end-of-year financial requests by December 5, 2011.

Chesapeake’s donations support a variety of charitable organizations and projects that improve the quality of life and stimulate the economy in our operating areas.

Click on the region of the map that best represents your organization’s service area to begin the application process.

Applications are available in the following categories. Before applying, please select the appropriate type so we can accurately evaluate your request.

All applications are relative to each of our operating areas and are subject to change depending on the information needed.

  • Charitable Request Application - A request for cash to help fund a specific project or program of a charitable organization.
  • Sponsorship Application - A request to sponsor an event or program that benefits a community initiative.
  • In-Kind Application - A request for Chesapeake’s surplus goods: computers, refurbished vehicles and bottled water.
  • General Support Application - A request for cash to help further the mission of a charitable organization.

There are no submission deadlines for charitable requests, which are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, once an application has been submitted, we ask that you allow at least six weeks to be notified of a decision.
