Chesapeake H.E.L.P. Initiative
Chesapeake employees have been enriching communities as volunteers for many years. In fact, community service is so pervasive in our company’s culture that in 2009 we established the H.E.L.P. (Helping Energize Local Progress) Initiative, a comprehensive company-wide volunteer initiative designed to provide our employees with meaningful opportunities to serve their neighbors and better their communities through volunteerism and community service.
The goal of the H.E.L.P. Initiative is to promote community outreach and volunteer support by connecting employees with local organizations that are addressing the greatest needs in the community. By offering opportunities for involvement, we strive to fill needs and build strong foundations for the future in the areas where we operate.
From school supply drives and trash clean ups to revamping parks and renovating and building homes, the H.E.L.P. Initiative covers a broad scope of volunteer efforts and opportunities throughout the year.
