Fitness Center/Living Well Program

Chesapeake’s dedication to promoting employee health is evident by our 72,000- square-foot, state-of-the-art health facility, which provides employees and their families with convenient access to the latest health equipment and group exercise classes. We also subsidize family fitness memberships for employees in the field. In 2006, we initiated the Living Well Program, which provides a financial incentive for employees who maintain healthy and productive lifestyles through regular exercise, education, motivation and intervention. In 2010 more than 6,500 employees participated in Chesapeake's Living Well Program with more 70% earning a financial award for their participation.

CHK Health Center

In partnership with St. Anthony’s Hospital, the company has created the Chesapeake Health Center on its corporate campus in Oklahoma City. Open Monday through Friday, the Health Center provides primary care, urgent care and chronic disease management. Chesapeake employees and their dependents enrolled in the company’s medical insurance plan pay only a $5 co-pay. The center also provides full dental care including cleanings, whitening and restorative dentistry and the opportunity to meet with a skilled dermatologist.
