On June 28 CEO Aubrey McClendon defended the natural gas industry on CNBC’s “Mad Money" from claims made by a recent New York Times article. The article’s sources claim that companies have overstated the supply of natural gas shale reserves and compare the industry to a “ponzi” scheme.
