Whether you are an intern or a recent college graduate, Chesapeake employees begin hands-on, industry work on day one. Our intern experience includes a business-impacting project and career mentor to give you professional experience that will help prepare you for the future. Our discipline-specific college recruiting committee attends career fairs, hosts informational sessions and conducts on-campus interviews at a myriad of select universities. You’ll also find us at American Association of Petroleum Geologists student expos across the country.
Internships are full time, paid and last from May to August. To be eligible, a student must have at least one semester remaining or have been accepted into graduate school. Chesapeake internships provide a unique opportunity for students — not only will you spend time with senior leadership and contribute to innovative projects and applications that help grow the business, you also benefit from working on
Chesapeake's campus, including access to our 72,000-square-foot fitness center. We offer internships in most areas of our business, specifically:
