Nomac Drilling, L.L.C. operates many of the Chesapeake rigs currently working in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. During the past year, Nomac has constructed an additional 13 drilling rigs, bringing their fleet up to 64 rigs operating in the field. Nomac currently provides significant support for Chesapeake in the very active horizontal drilling areas of the Barnett Shale, Woodford Shale and Fayetteville Shale, as well as other conventional and traditional drilling areas.
