United Way

Our annual United Way campaign is the company’s biggest fundraiser. Employees make contributions and raise additional funds through an online silent auction, raffle ticket sales and a duck derby, where employees race rubber ducks through our campus creek. Chesapeake matches each contribution dollar for dollar. Our 2013 campaign raised $3.8 million.

In-kind Donations

For many nonprofit organizations, securing resources to complete their missions is a constant challenge. Chesapeake works closely with our neighbors to see how we can recycle some of our resources. From reconditioned fleet trucks to gently used office equipment, we look for opportunities to benefit nonprofits, schools and government agencies through in-kind donations. By passing on serviceable used resources, we provide much-needed items that help lighten the budgetary load of numerous organizations.

Chesapeake Community Plaza

It’s important to us that the nonprofits in our communities thrive. One example of this is the Chesapeake Community Plaza, a dynamic office property available for nonprofit organizations in the Oklahoma City area. Located just north of Chesapeake’s campus, this property offers approximately 64,000 square feet of office and warehouse space at a reduced rate to local, qualified nonprofits working to create a better Oklahoma.
