Corporate Giving

Our support of local communities and organizations take a number of forms including financial contributions, volunteer hours, scholarships and educational support, public education efforts, employee contributions and in-kind donations. We are committed to partnership with the organizations we support to help make the most effective impact.


Chesapeake’s donations support a variety of charitable organizations and projects that improve the quality of life and stimulate the economy in our operating areas. Please review the applications available and select the appropriate type to begin the process.

  • Charitable Request – A request for cash to help fund a specific project or program for a charitable organization.
  • Sponsorship – A request to sponsor an event or program that benefits a community initiative.

There are no submission deadlines. We review applications on an ongoing basis. However, once an application has been submitted, we ask that you allow at least six weeks to be notified of a decision.

United Way

Our annual United Way campaign is the company’s biggest fundraiser. Employees make contributions and raise additional funds through an online silent auction, raffle ticket sales and a duck derby, where employees race rubber ducks through our campus creek. Chesapeake matches each contribution dollar for dollar. Our 2014 campaign raised $2.8 million.

Chesapeake Community Plaza

It’s important to us that the nonprofits in our communities thrive. One example of this is the Chesapeake Community Plaza, a dynamic office property available for nonprofit organizations in the Oklahoma City area. Located just north of Chesapeake’s campus, this property offers approximately 64,000 square feet of office and warehouse space at a reduced rate to local, qualified nonprofits working to create a better Oklahoma.
