Our participation in the political process reflects our core values of respect, integrity and trust, and our high ethical standards. The use of company funds for political expenditures or lobbying in any form on behalf is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Nominating, Governance and Social Responsibility Committee of our Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the company’s political spending, which is used to advance business goals and Chesapeake interests.
Chesapeake complies with federal, state and local laws that require disclosure of political contributions and lobbying activities. We file reports of receipts and contributions for our Political Action Committees (PACs) as required with the Federal Election Commission and applicable states.
